API Confirms difficult to trace leak using Pipepod LS system

Posted on August 4, 2016 by API

API was recently contacted by a client who required a leak confirmation survey. The leak was on a deeply buried pipe which was sited below a sewer. Ground water was present however accurate location was required to reduce the size of the excavation, and to also reduce costs.
API used a PIPA product called the Pipepod LS for the survey. This system accurately identifies leaks and gives the operator distance data to validate leak location.

Thanks API

The specialist leak detection work was in fact very useful and did help us to pinpoint and subsequently fix the leak. I will definitely keep you in mind for future work.
