API Confirms Leak at Water Treatment Works

Posted on April 21, 2016 by API

API recently surveyed a large diameter pipeline in a water treatment works. The client suspected a leak within the pipeline however was not aware of its actual location. API surveyed the pipeline using a specialist CCTV Crawler unit for use in potable water, and identified an open joint section with pipe ingress.

The pipeline was deeply buried and therefore an API survey removed the guesswork and drastically reduced the excavation required for the pipe repair and reinstatement.
